Slackwater is a tides-and-weather dashboard for the Texas coast. Pick any NOAA station along the coast and see the live tide curve, water level, wind, weather, radar, and sun & moon times together — instead of checking five different sites before you head out. Free on the web; the iOS app adds saved places, home-screen widgets, and a 7-day forecast.
Slackwater pulls the tide tables, the marine forecast, the radar, and the sun & moon times into a single view — so planning a morning on the water takes seconds, not a browser full of tabs.

Tap any station for its current tide status — observed water level against the prediction — a 24-hour tide curve with your position on it, the next high and low, and water temperature with history.
Current wind speed, gusts, and direction with a 12-hour forecast, barometric pressure and its trend, sky conditions, and an animated precipitation radar layer right on the map.
Sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset for the station's exact location and timezone — plus the current moon phase, so you know what light you'll have.
Open the forecast for day-by-day cards: an individual tide sparkline, high and low times, the daily weather range, wind, sun & moon times, and the moon phase progression across the week.
Save the spots you check most and pin them to your home screen as widgets, so the next tide is on your lock screen before you open anything. Dark mode throughout, on web and on device.
Slackwater shows you the coast without asking anything of you. There's no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics SDKs. Your saved places and preferences stay on your device.

Tide values are predictions and weather data can be delayed or estimated; actual conditions may differ. For navigation and any safety-related decision, always consult official NOAA tide tables and charts, National Weather Service marine forecasts, and the U.S. Coast Guard, and use your own judgment.
